Obituary
Myrtle was known to everyone as Moaning Myrtle. She was a member of Ravenclaw House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She passed away on June 14, 1943 at the age of 13 years old. Her tragic death was caused by the eyes of the Basilisk whom emerged from the Chamber of Secrets. Myrtle died in the girls' bathroom on the first floor. Myrtle's spirit was never properly put to rest therefor her ghost still roams the girls' bathroom. She moans incoherently in a pit of sorrow over her own death. She has also developed romantic feelings towards Harry Potter, a member of the Griffindor House. She has helped Harry Potter and his friends open the chamber to reveal some of the secrets of Hogwarts and the person responsible for all the chaos and mayhem, Tom Riddle. She lived as much as anyone could live in the short life span of 13 years. Although Myrtle has passed her ghost continues to live and annoy everyone who goes to the girls' bathroom on the first floor, thus creating everyone to use every other bathroom except the first floor. People to this day continue to throw books at her! May she rest in a deep slumber of peace.
